Village Bus Stop

Tamsi, a village in Adilabad district, does not have a bus shelter despite road transport being the only mode of transportation for the villagers. Bus shelters becomes an important areas as bus riders are always at risk getting caught in the rain or during extreme weather conditions. A well designed shelter makes a huge difference when people wait for a bus for 20 minutes or more.

Recognising the importance, Helping Society Foundation took an initiative to evaluate and construct a bus shelter for the Tamsi village. We have engaged with local villagers and volunteers to successfully in constructing a bus shelter, also rewarding them with grocery kits in return for their participation.
